2026 Mission Trip

Tanzania Mission & Ministry | January 19, 2026 – February 1, 2026

Dear Church Family,

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who joined the journey with us—through prayer, encouragement, and support for the purchase of 790 Bibles (a total value of about $9,480). Each Bible was delivered, and we are thankful for those who followed our daily posts and updates.

Our mission team—Sharon Moon, Kay Silvis, Frankie Wilson, myself, and seven other missionaries from four partnering churches—was deeply blessed to carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ as sent messengers from our home congregations. You commissioned us, and God anointed and guided our team every step of the way.

In Tanzania, we served alongside our Brothers and Sisters in Christ, sharing encouragement and receiving it in return. Under the leadership of Dr. Harrison Olang, whose heart burns for Jesus and His Word, we witnessed God at work. We praise the Lord for 26 known salvations and trust that many more seeds of faith were planted.

The region we served has not received rain in nearly 10 months, leaving the land extremely dry and the roads dusty. Despite these challenges, the joy and faith of the people were evident and deeply moving.

After completing our ministry, we were blessed with the opportunity to witness one of God’s greatest wonders—The Great Migration at Serengeti National Park. Surrounded by an estimated 700,000–800,000 wildebeest and zebras, we marveled at the vastness of God’s creation and His perfect design in nature’s rhythm.

Our journey home took approximately 37½ hours of travel, beginning at midnight Friday, January 30 (Georgia time) and ending with our arrival in Atlanta at 1:30 PM on February 1. Though long, every mile was a reminder of the prayers and love covering us back home.

Once again, thank you for your continued prayers, support, and encouragement. We are humbled and grateful for the part each of you played in this mission.

Blessings, Pastor Earl Pirkle

2025 Mission  Trip

Tanzania Mission & Ministry | January 20 – February 2, 2025

Our mission team—Sharon Moon, Kay Silvis, David and Phyllis Mathews, myself, and seven other missionaries from four partnering churches—was deeply blessed to carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ as sent messengers from our home congregations. You commissioned us, and God anointed and guided our team every step of the way.

In Tanzania, we served alongside our Brothers and Sisters in Christ, with Dr. Harrison Olang, sharing encouragement and receiving it in return.  Some of our group were able to help in the hospital clinic with the babies and their mothers.  Although two of our team members had to return home early due to illness, we witnessed God at work. We praise the Lord for known salvations and trust that many more seeds of faith were planted.

After completing our ministry, we were blessed with the opportunity to witness one of God’s greatest wonders at Serengeti National Park. Surrounded by a numerous wild animals; lions, giraffes, zebras,  and we marveled at the vastness of God’s creation and His perfect design in nature’s rhythm.

Thank you for your continued prayers, support, and encouragement. We are humbled and grateful for the part each of you played in this mission.
